World Premiere: Fergie - "Life Goes On": Full Audio + Review
Oh the irony! The same week Donald Trump is elected president of the United States of America, pop singer Fergie releases a new solo single entitled "Life Goes On". She was supposedly dropping the Nicki Minaj-assisted "You Already Know" as her newest single this week but apparently in view of the recent US election result Fergie and/or her label, Interscope, decided a song with a more headliney title would get better attention. Not a bad move...
"Life Goes On" will appear on Fergie's much-delayed second solo album "Double Dutchess", which should be arriving in stores later this year.

"Life goes on with or without you", sings Fergie in the chorus. And don't get it wrong, she didn't just write/record this song after Trump beat Hillary, it's not Trump-inspired. "Life Goes On" is a pop song with an acoustic feel, a rapped bridge, and a synth-pop take-over towards the end where Fergie laments the end of a relationship but realizes that in the end life will continue.
