World Premiere: Calvin Harris (ft. Gwen Stefani) - "Together" [Full Audio]
There’s still a few days left until “Motion” hit stores in the UK and the US but “leakers” don’t care. Calvin Harris’ fourth studio album has hit the online world today (Oct. 28). One of the songs that we hadn’t heard yet from the project in full and is very much anticipated is Calvin's EDM collaboration with No Doubt star Gwen Stefani. "Together" is the song they recorded together and you can stream it in its entirety below!!!
“Dollar Signs”, Calvin’s song with Tinashe is also very anticipated but we don’t really want to mess with his album release that much. So we’re only giving you "Together" as an exclusive. Make sure to support “Motion” when it’s out: October 31 (Australia), November 3 (UK) and November 4 (USA)!
"Together" song review
Cool song but definitely not Calvin's best. Gwen's crystal-clear vocals throughout the whole song are great, but Calvin's EDM beat breaks after each hook are just super underwhelming. It's like he was mentally tired of creating beats for “Motion” that he decided to give his Gwen duet "Together" a very rudimentary production. No build-up whatsoever, and very underwhelming beat breaks…sorry. Still, the fact that “Together” is a song featuring Gwen Stefani makes it impossible to hate. So what’s the song about? Gwen sings of making a boy - she's intensely watching at the club - fall for her. And she says he's going to thank her afterwards 'cause "you [the boy] won't wanna go home”. Meow!
