Watch: The BET Hip Hop Awards 2013 - The Cyphers
The taping of the BET Hip Hop Awards 2013 is airing tonight at 8PM Est. The show was shot on September 28th in Atlanta and is finally available for viewing on BET. As they always are, the Cyphers are back and are sure to be the highlight of the show. This years edition comes with 6 groups, including artists like Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky, Lil Kim, Royce Da 5'9, ScHoolboy Q, Nick Cannon, and many more. DJ Premier handles the turntables.
Don't be surprised to see the talk after tonight's show focused on Kendrick Lamar. The Compton MC sent shots at Drake over Mobb Deep's 'Shook Ones' instrumental: "And Nothing's Been The Same since they dropped 'Control'/And tucked a sensitive rapper back in his pajama clothes/Ha-ha, jokes on you."
