Watch: Florence and the Machine Perform at 2015 Glastonbury Festival (Full Set)
Florence and the Machine were the headlining act at Day 1 of the 2015 edition of the legendary Glastonbury Festival in England last night, June 26.
Florence Welch and Co. weren’t the ones originally scheduled to be the last performers at the main Pyramid stage on Friday night, though. Foo Fighters were supposed to be the headlining act but unfortunately they had to cancel following frontman Dave Grohl’s leg injury at a recent show in Sweden. That’s when Glastonbury organizers looked for a replacement act and thought indie-rock band Florence and the Machine were the perfect choice.
During their 1 hour and 30 minutes-long set, Florence Welch slayed the crowd with live performances of the most popular songs from the three albums the band has released so far and intelligently closed the concert with their breakthrough single “Dog Days Are Over”. Glastonbury festival-goers just went MAD!
