Watch: Childish Gambino Calls Out Drake, Kendrick Lamar, & ScHoolboy Q In New Freestyle
Childish Gambino is confident. The California-born rapper performed at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney, Australia on Sunday night (July 27th) and left attendees with a show worth remembering. He performed tracks from his current album ‘Because The Internet’, debut project ‘Camp’, and gave fans a lengthy unheard live freestyle with name drops of Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and ScHoolboy Q.
Footage of Gambino's freestyle was caught by a fan in the audience. The sound quality is pretty good and at the 2 minute mark, he's quoted rapping:
"I'm the best rapper, definitely Top 5....I cut their head off, that's every rapper living. That's Kendrick, that's Drake, that's Schoolboy, that's everyone. I don't give a fuck. I'll f*cking kill you n*ggas. I'll f*cking kill you n*ggas"
Earlier this year, Childish Gambino revealed to Power 106 he plans on dropping a new project by the end of the year. With a claim of "definitely top 5", expectations will be high. Watch footage of the freestyle below.
