Singers The Weeknd and Beyonce were the main musical attractions on the 2015 edition of the Made In America festival, sponsored by Budweiser. This year’s festival was held only in the city of Philadelphia (the simultaneous even in Los Angeles has been cancelled for good due to poor ticket sales) over this past weekend. On Saturday (Sept. 5), R&B star Beyonce was the headliner, and on Sunday (Sept. 6), Canadian singe The Weeknd was in charge of the headlining duties.

The incomparable Beyonce opened her Saturday night set with the “Fifty Shades of Grey” remix of her hit “Crazy In Love”, and after 8 costume changes, she wrapped it up with “Single Ladies”.

The Weeknd opened his last night set with “High For This”, off his 2011 debut mixtape “House of Balloons”, and closed it with “Wicked Games”, also a song from that debut mixtape of his. Pretty surprising that he didn’t open or close his 2015 Made In America festival concert with none of his most “mainstream” singles.

I wasn’t really sure how well The Weeknd was going to cope with the pressure of being a headliner at such major event but in the end he pulled through, and passed the test with flying colors. And I swear to God that throughout his entire set, which lasted over an hour, I kept asking myself if he was using playback because OMG his live vocals were fantastic; CDQ-much!!! But yes, it all all live boys and girls. He’s AMAZING!

Who had the best show?
