The Wanted Make Their US Debut On 'Ellen'
I'm happy for the fellas! They looked genuinely excited to be there! British boyband The Wanted (made of members; Max, Nathan, Tom, Jay and Siva) made their US television debut on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' on Tuesday (January 10th) - The London-based group performed on the hit daytime talk-show their European smash "Glad You Came"...and they rocked it! Sounded good, and although the nerves were visible, they acted like pro's interacting with the crowd and all. BTW, can we please take a look at Nathan's 'I'm so freakin' excited' face when the camera makes a close-up of Max at the beginning? *awww!*
So, I liked pretty much everything about the performance, except for that 'America, who's ready to party!?' shout. So unnecessary, awkward and lame-y. The Wanted will embark on a 10-date theater tour in the USA, starting January 17th in Orlando, Florida, to introduce themselves, and their music to the American audience. I like The Wanted, and I wish them the best in this trying-to-crack-America adventure! Last thing, 'Glad You Came' impacts on radios there next January 24th, so request then!
What do YOU think of the performance/song?
