Taylor Swift Brings Out OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder For "Counting Stars" Performance at Night 1 In L.A
Taylor Swift is going to play 5 consecutive "1989 World Tour" shows at the Staples Center in Los Angeles (all shows already sold-out, sorry) and at the first one last night (Aug. 21) the country/pop star invited Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic on stage to perform together the smash hit "Counting Stars", off his band's 2013 "Native" album.
With so many music stars living in L.A no doubt all 5 nights at the Staples will have 'special guests'. So excited! Imagine if Selena, Lana or Demi are next?
Taylor called OneRepublic "one of my favorite bands ever" and Ryan Tedder "one of my favorite songwriters in the world" before bringing him out on stage. Their performance of "Counting Stars" was high-energy but evidently it showed this was a tough song to sing for Taylor Swift. Anyhow, the overall performance was entertaining!
