5 Seconds of Summer show their softest side in
this new song called ‘Amnesia’. The mellow pop/rock song has just been made purchasable
on iTunes, where you can also pre-order the entire 5 Seconds of Summer debut album,
which will be arriving in stores around the world in the following weeks.
‘Amnesia’, as well as many other songs from the
album, was performed on tour by 5 Seconds of Summer many months ago, but it’s
not until today that we can hear it in its high-quality studio version.
5 Seconds of Summer recount in ‘Amnesia' the story of a girlfriend leaving town for good and having to say goodbye to her boyfriend. The lyrics talk about the horrible feelings one feel in that situation, and wishing to have amnesia to tackle all the suffering.
