Ty Dolla $ign, aka. one of the hottest rappers of the moment (his one trillion collaborations do not lie), released today the lead single from his upcoming sophomore album "Beach House 3". The DJ Mustard-produced track "Love U Better" was first world premiered on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show before making its way onto digital platforms this Monday afternoon.
"Love U Better" features The Dream singing the chorus, and Lil Wayne rapping a verse.
Although this sounds evidently urban, it could get some rotation on Top 40 radios tio. It has a little "commercial" appeal to it, and that must be all The Dream's fault. I like it.
And if you're wondering what "Love U Better" is about, it's not that hard to decipher really, it's about a guy saying to a girl he's hooked on that she could do it so much better than the individual she's currently dating. A very macho song, if you s will.
