Is Shawn Mendes planning to re-release his “Handwritten” debut album soon?
The Canadian singer-songwriter performed a headlining concert last night (August 16) in Los Angeles at The Greek Theater – now that he’s taking a couple of days off from Taylor’s “1989 World Tour” - and to the surprise of the fans attending, who were just expecting Shawn to perform songs off “Handwritten” and “The Shawn Mendes” EP, the 17-year-old debuted a BRAND NEW TRACK, one that’s titled “Memories”. “Memories” is a very pretty and heartfelt ballad that got girls swooning left and right in the audience. It sounded real nice live, and I want to hear the studio version ASAP!
Is this a new song that’s been recorded for a “secret” “Handwritten” re-release? It must be because the album was only dropped in April this year and it’s definitely too soon for album number 2. What are you up to Island Records? Tell us!
