Sam Smith - "I'm Not The Only One" [Music Video]
Another amazing video for another amazing song! Freshly added to VEVO, here is the music video to “I’m Not The Only One”, the fourth official single from Sam Smith’s debut album “In The Lonely Hour”. The Capitol Records-released album debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top 200 (only behind Lana del Rey's "Ultraviolence") back in July, selling over 228,000 copies. Not too shabby at all!
“I’m Not The Only One” is track no. 5 on “In The Only Hour”, it is written by Sam and James Napier, and produced by Jimmy Napes and Steve Fitzmaurice. “I’m Not The Only One” is one of the 10 stunning R&B-soul songs that are on Sam’s debut LP.
“I’m Not The Only One” music video review
Premiered online on Friday, August 1st, the Luke Monaghan-directed music video for “I’m Not The Only One” tells the story a man cheating on his beautiful blonde wife with a hot brunette. The opening scene in the video sees the wife (Dianna Agron) at home kissing her husband (Chris Messina) goodbye. There is an evident sad light in her eyes, and it’s not because he’s man is leaving for ‘work’, but because she knows his secret. The husband doesn’t go to work but she heads to a downtown bar where she meets his mistress. After having a few drinks, and being ‘serenaded’ by Sam Smith who is playing at the bear, the lovers go to undisclosed location to have a wild session of sex. Simultaneously, the cheated on wife is seen crying a river, and ruining her make up at home. She drinks her sorrow away with a few alcoholic beverages, and drives to the nearest convenience store to pick up some combustible. She wants to exorcize her pain. What does she do? She burns all of her husband's fancy clothes! When the husband returns home at night after a long and demanding 'work shift', the wife opens the house door and welcomes her husband with a big hug. Video finishes! What!? I needed some some revenge and blood! I would’ve whooped his ass!
Anyhow, beautiful and captivating song, and well-executed music video!
