Pink To Perform The National Anthem at Super Bowl 2018: See Her Competition From Previous Years!

Pink has been announced as the performer of the US national anthem at the upcoming Super Bowl, which will be taking place on February 4th (and you already know Justin Timberlake will be doing the halftime show). Pink has never performed on a Super Bowl stage before and doing a quick research on YouTube, I have found no videos of Pink singing the national anthem anywhere. But I’m sure that can’t be case? She has performed the national anthem at some TV event before, right? Care to send a link? But if she indeed has never performed “The Star-Spangled Banner” on television, then this is definitely a huge deal for her. It’s not only going to be appearing on a Super Bowl telecast that’s going to be watched by millions of people all around the world, it’s also going to be about not disappointing her fellow Americans and doing a perfect rendition of the American national anthem (like many has done before her). The stakes are high and the "Beautiful Trauma" singer can’t disappoint.

What are some artists that have performed the national anthem at the Super Bowl that Pink is going to have to top or improve? Here you have a selection:

Pink doesn’t have the most amazing vocal register in the planet but she definitely knows how to move people with her performances. She adds so much emotion to her vocals that at the end of the day that’s what’s so special about watching her sing something live.

I anticipate this a lot. And there might be a chance she delivers an original performance of the national anthem at the Super Bowl in a few weeks. You know Pink is not very fond of just standing still and singing with a mic stand for a TV performance. So there might be a surprise! Performing the national anthem at the stadium’s roof like Gaga maybe? What do you think?
