One Direction 'Midnight Memories' Album Lyrics

one direction midnight memories artwork

Keeping up with their "one album a year" formula, British boyband One Direction are set and ready to release their third studio album "Midnight Memories" globally on November 25th, 2013. One Direction's previous offerings were the platinum-selling albums "Up All Night" (2011) and "Take Me Home" (2012).

"Midnight Memories" sees a drastic change in One Direction's up-to-date musical style of super bubble-gum pop/rock songs. Their sound resembles now to that of Mumford & Sons, Philip Phillips or The Lumineers. It's pop, it's folk, and there are a couple of "trademark" One Direction originals for the nostalgics. "Midnight Memories" features a total of 14 tracks on its standard edition, and 18 on the deluxe.

In "Midnight Memories", the One Direction guys worked with a wide range of talented producers and writers including: Wayne Hector, John Ryan, Julian Bunetta, Ed Drewett, Jamie Scott, fellow British rock band McFly, Savan Kotecha, Carl Falk, Ryan Tedder, Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody, Jacknife Lee or Claude Kelly.

2012's "Take Me Home" sold a total of 540,000 copies in its first-week of release in the United States. That's the mark to beat this year. Is Billboard ready?.
