Nick Jonas Releases Early Version of Fetty Wap-Inspired New Song "Area Code": Listen
Nick Jonas unexpectedly premiered a new song titled "Area Code" via his personal SoundCloud account tonight (September 5th). The under 3-minutes-long is a heavily urban-influenced track that most certainly will appear on the rumored forthcoming re-release of Nick's debut solo album ("Levels" is in theory the first single of the project).
"Fetty Wap-much" I'm sure will be the first thought that will come on your mind once you start hearing Nick's "Area Code". The 'sound' is just too similar to what Fetty is doing right now. Consider "Area Code" Nick's "Trap Queen".
And if you feel there's something "missing" in "Area Code" you are feeling right. The song is not finished yet as Nick confirmed on the SoundCloud description of the song. "I need someone to put a verse on this…", he wrote. Is "leaking" this song in its "demo" version Nick's desperate way to try to convince Fetty to collab with him?
