Nick Jonas - "Close" [Music Video Premiere!]
WOW! I’m speechless at how good Nick Jonas’ “Close” music video with Tove Lo is. Major kudos go to director Tim Erem. I’m already a supporter of “Close” getting a “Video of The Year” nomination at the 2016 MTV VMAs!
Nick premiered the “Close” music video on VEVO mere hours after the single was released on iTunes on Friday morning (March 25th).
The visual for the sultry alternative R&B track, where Nick expresses his fears over getting into a serious relationship again, sees the “Jealous” star and the “Habits” chanteuse Tove Lo sitting on different chairs, placed to face each other, at an empty warehouse. The video will follow how Nick and Tove are unable to physically touch - for whenever the chorus of “Close” kicks in, an invisible force pushes them apart. However, after fighting really hard, and losing almost their entire clothes, the on-screen lovebirds will finally get together and things will get very STEAMY!
The ending may be a bit “Sia’s “Elastic Heart” music video meets Pink’s “Try” music video” much but I liked it anyway. And by the way, DAMN at Tove Lo’s sick body! Oh, and what about their kiss in the last scene? AHHH! Did you see “sparks” too? They should totally date!
