New Song: The Weeknd - 'Kiss Land'

The Weeknd - 'Kiss Land'

Toronto native The Weeknd took to twitter to release the title track off his upcoming album 'Kiss Land'. The song, which lasts over 7 minutes, brings forth that classic Abel sound we've gotten to know and also features a complete beat and tempo switch up around the halfway mark. The second part of the song may actually be titled 'John Carpenter' since he gave us a 20 sec preview of it earlier this week.

'Kiss Land'(the album) will be serving as the follow up to The Weeknd's previous major label release 'Trilogy', which was a compilation of Abel's three mixtape releases 'House Of Balloons', 'Thursday', and 'Echoes Of Silence'. Album sales for 'Kiss Land' surely won't be a problem since last time the numbers came in(March 10th), 'Trilogy' was sitting at 289,000 copies sold and it only held three previously unreleased songs.

Not much is known about The Weeknd's album 'Kiss Land', but we can assume this record will serve as the first single. If this isn't enough Abel for you, take a listen to his recent feature on French Montana's 'Gifted' record. Check out the track below and let us know your thoughts in the comment section.
