They said the album title is one of the options they discussed as possible group names, instead of the final choice that was Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan. What could it be?. Ah! So intriguing. "Flatline" marks the first piece of new music Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan have recorded all three together since "Open Touch" in 2000.
Written and produced by Dev Hynes (Florence + the Machine, Solange), "Flatline" is all sorts of epic. So unlike anything that's on radio in the UK at the moment. So unique, and fresh sounding. No doubt loyal fans of the original Sugababes line-up will make of "Flatline" an instant favorite. Mutya, Keisha & Siobhan's vocals and harmonies in it are to die for, the lyrics are brilliant, and Dev Hynes' old-vibed production is awe-some. This is good, so good. I'm praying UK'ers get it right and make it a hit. "Flatline" is out September 1.
