New Song: J. Cole - 'Niggaz Know'
The release date for J. Cole's sophomore album 'Born Sinner' is slowly approaching on June 18th and tonight he gives us another preview of the project with 'Niggaz Know'. Plenty of Biggie references and even a Tupac line(2:13) in there from Cole for all you Hip-Hop heads to enjoy.
Earlier today, Jermaine spoke to Soul Culture on the theme and direction of his anticipated sophomore release: “When you listen to the album you’ll notice how it flows from darkness to light, from hell to heaven, depression to happiness, It literally was a way out… I’m writing my way out of a negative place, a darker place.”. Interesting to see what he's worked up for us.
Unlike most Rap albums, 'Born Sinner' will feature no guest appearances from any Rappers(not even his boss Jay-Z) and is rumored to be completely self-produced by Cole as well. He also managed to get the duo of Tionne Watkins and Rozonda Thomas, or as they like to be called TLC, on a record. Not an album you want to miss out on come June 18th.
