New Music: Wale (feat. J. Cole) - ‘The Pessimist’
Wale reunites with longtime friend J. Cole for a new collab between the two titled ‘The Pessimist’. Produced by Osinachi, the track will be featured on Wale's highly anticipated 'The Album About Nothing' LP dropping next week.
'The Pessimist' starts off with a George Costanza sample from Seinfeld. Wale then comes in with his first verse followed by a harmonizing hook from J. Cole. "Who am I to change perception? If a n*gga kill a n*gga he's another statistic" raps the D.C. native.
'The Album About Nothing', which will include Wale's 'The Body' and 'The Matrimony' singles, is due out in stores on March 31st. The MMG artist kept features to a minimal on the project with J. Cole, Usher, Jeremih, and TDE's SZA as the only listed guests. Production is credited to names like Jake One, DJ Khalil, Soundz, JGrammBeats, and others.
