New Music: Paloma Faith - "Love Only Leaves You Lonely" [Full Audio + Review]
Paloma Faith is bringing R&B realness in her upcoming album "A Perfect Contradiction", due in UK stores on March 3rd. The first single "Can't Rely On You" already hinted this new sound for the 32-year-old London singer, although it still got that radio-friendly edge thanks to the Pharrell production. The song is jazz-soul, though.
However, today (January 25) a new song from "A Perfect Contradiction" has surfaced online. It's "Love Only Leaves You Lonely", and it's a beautfiful old-school R&B jam. Paloma will belt out the gloomy lyrics with such raw vocals that it's impossible you don't get the chills. Just beautiful. The simple production fits Paloma's voice perfectly too.
