New Music: JoJo - "Save My Soul", "When Love Hurts" & "Say Love" [Premiere Of "TRINGLE"]
JoJo’s “Tringle” release (her releasing three singles from her forthcoming “comeback” album at the same time) was supposed to happen at 12am EST (US) time on August 21st for everyone in the world but it seems either someone made a mistake or JoJo re-thought this “everybody must wait for the US time” approach, because “Tringle” is here right now (August 20th) – quite a few hours before Friday 12am EST. “Tringle” is apparently available right now for streaming on Spotify in Europe, Asia, and Australia. The US fans of JoJo will have to wait a few more hours until it’s ‘12am EST on August 21st’… sorry! (that’s if you want to wait for the Spotify/iTunes release, but if you want to listen to the “Tringle” songs right now just go to the bottom of this page).
The three songs that comprise this “Tringle” release are: “Save My Soul”, “When Love Hurts” and “Say Love”. And I didn’t mention them in this particular order by chance, it was because this is the order of how much I personally rank/love them. “Save My Soul” is a big ballad (a bit boring), “When Love Hurts” is JoJo’s first take on EDM (she sounds well in this genre, but the song is a bit too “last year”-sounding for me), and last but not least is “Save My Soul”, and oh my God, this is my favorite song by far off "Tringle" and it should be the ‘lead single’ from JoJo’s upcoming long-delayed third studio album for sure! “Save My Soul” is amazing, it's fresh, and it’s “right now” (send it to radio ASAP!). It’s a mid-tempo R&B-pop song with a few synth elements and delicious “na na na nas” by JoJo. If you ain’t got time to listen to all three songs right now, just go for “Save My Soul”.
