New Music: Inna - Put Your Hands Up
Romanian pop queen Inna has recently uploaded on her official YouTube page a viral music video for her new song "Put Your Hands Up", track #11 from her upcoming sophomore album "I Am the Club Rocker", in stores on September 20th - The viral visual shows footage from Inna's recent festival shows across Europe as well as from random club performances - But to be honest I'm not here for this cheap vid, I only clicked the play button to check out the song (It's the FIRST LISTEN!).
What did I think of it? Well, while Inna still shows consistency in her unique electro-pop sound, thanks to Romanian producing team Play & Win, "Put Your Hands Up" sadly falls into the 'forgettable' category IMO. It's not that exciting. I'm very worried about Inna's new album. She put the bar SO HIGH since her flawless debut "Hot", I'm beginning to think she's feeling the pressure of achieving the same success.
And although I LIVE for her singles "Sun Is Up" and "Un Momento", they may be included on the "I Am the Club Rocker" tracklisting, but we all know they come from the "Hot" recording sessions and they were even added on some re-releases of that album. So thus far the only single from Inna's second album I take as official is "Club Rocker" and unfortunately that was a disappointing song and it flopped on the charts. I only hope Inna has a few aces up her sleeve, and surprises us with the rest of songs on the new album. PLEASE! *goes listen '10 Minutes'* Ahhhhh, so much better. :).
