New Music: Britney Spears & Iggy Azalea - "Pretty Girls" [Full Audio / Review]
If you’re not a pretty girl then this is not your new anthem; it’s only for the non-ugly ones. OK?
We do not have to wait till May 5 to listen to Britney Spears’ much-anticipated new single “Pretty Girls” anymore, as the Little Mix-written track leaked on the Internet today Saturday, May 2 (2 days behind schedule!). Boy, RCA won’t be happy.
It this the full version of the song, though? It seems so but it’s only 2 minutes and 44 seconds of total length. Something doesn’t feel right. But if you hear it, it does seem like the full version as we have both of Britney’s verses, a couple of choruses, and of course Iggy’s rap part. Perhaps this the radio edit or an unfinished version missing extra instrumental breaks? Hmmm, we’ll find out soon; Britney’s team is obviously going to push up the release of the song in view of this leak and we’ll see then if this 'short song' is indeed the real deal.
In any case, if this 2:44 minute version turns out to be the full version, I’m ok. I’m getting everything I need from this version. “Pretty Girls” is so catchy!
The new “Pretty Girls” single sounds like a strong contender for “hottest song of the 2015 summer”. It’s urban pop-flavored, it's sassy, Britney’s vocals are to die for, and Iggy; her reign just won’t let up. She’s nailing every collaboration!
UPDATE: 2:44 it is! VEVO audio video now added!
