New Music: Amber Rose (ft. Wiz Khalifa) - Fame
American model, actress, and socialite Amber Rose is branching out into music world, and as promised, world premiered her debut single called "Fame", featuring her current boyfriend, rapper Wiz Khalifa, via gossip website PerezHilton.com on Tuesday (Jan. 10) - Now let me first tell you, I was actually curious to hear this. Not that I'm really interested in this chick, but just that I thought all her model swagger, and persona would translate well into music. Well, here it is, let's check 'Fame' out. Am I loving it? Well, no, but it's not a hideous track either. It's pretty decent! 'Fame' features a monotonous electro-beat, a short rap verse by Wiz Khalifa, and loads of 'soft' singing by Mr Amber Rose. It's a very Cassie-esque track, mixed with 'something' from Paris Hilton's 'Stars Are Blind' song. Much better than Kim Kardashian's failed debut single "Jam" btw, I mean, at least Amber has some voice, and the song's message is rather nice. I could actually hear Fergie singing 'Fame' for her 'The Dutchess' album, now that I think about it.
