LISTEN: Nelly Furtado - What You Want to Do (The Night Is Young) (New Song!)
Canadian singer Nelly Furtado has confirmed the upcoming release of her very first greatest hits compilation entitled "The Best Of Nelly Furtado" due out on November 16th. The set will also include three new songs. One of these new recordings is titled "What You Want to Do (The Night Is Young)" and will serve as Nelly's new single. DL readers will immediately recognize this tune. Yep, this was previously known as "Free" and it leaked back in May. "Night Is Young/Free" was penned by Nelly Furtado and produced by Salaam Remi. This new version mantains the lyrics however it introduces a complete new electronic beat. Nothing ridiculous though, but rather cool and calmed. I loved "Free" from listen one, and I'm liking the changes made for "What You Want to Do (The Night Is Young)". Radio hit? Not sure but nevertheless a good effort. I'm still looking foward to hear Nelly's new album "Lifestyle" in 2011.
