I knew this was going to be the route Alessia Cara was going to take for her “Scars To Your Beautiful” music video. It’s just perfect!
The pint-sized Canadian singer debuted the official visual for her new single - third offering overall from Alessia’s “Know-It-All” album - on VEVO today, July 11th. Directed by Aaron A., the music video sees Alessia Cara in black clothes singing her emotional track in a very luminous attic as footage of interviews of random people talking about their difficulties in life are shown on screen. One of those “random” people is actually very well-known: it’s our girl JoJo, as in the “Too Little Too Late” singer. She makes a cameo in Alessia Cara’s “Scars To Your Beautiful” music video, make-up-free, narrating a tough chapter of her life.
Exactly what I expected and so on point.
I’m personally praying “Scars To Your Beautiful” becomes popular in the US. Everyone needs to hear the perseverance and self-love message in this Alessia Cara song. It’s just so powerful!
