Miley Cyrus Releases Studio Version of "Look What They’ve Done to My Song" Cover: Listen!
Two years ago Miley Cyrus performed a live cover of Melanie Safka’s 1971 single “Look What They’ve Done to My Song” during her Backyard Sessions and now she’s released a high-definition studio version! For what you ask? It’s Ms. Bangerz’ contribution to the soundtrack of comedy feature film “Free the Nipple” (in theatres now!). What’s the film about? “Sparked by the "Free the Nipple" campaign addressing societal taboos about public exposure of female breasts, director Lina Esco created this film to draw public attention to the issue of gender equality and encourage discussion over America's glorification of violence and repression of sexuality”.
Miley’s studio cover of “Look What They’ve Done to My Song” can be heard during the ending credits of the movie but for those wanting to play it repeatedly on your smartphones or music players Patrick Schwarzenegger’s girlfriend just liberated the studio version online (YEY!). Check it out below!!!
This is really, REALLY good! I like it even more than the Backyard Sessions live rendition actually. Love it when Miley turns her "real singer" mode ON.
