M.I.A - "Y.A.L.A" (Music Video)
The always enigmatic M.I.A teams up with i-d Magazine and luxury house Kenzo for the not-suitable-for-epileptics Daniel Sannwald-directed music video for “Y.A.L.A”, one of the catchiest, club bangers and highlights from her newly-released, not much commercially successful, third album “Matangi”. Watch above.
The description in the YouTube video seems pretty accurate; “Rainbow rave explosions with glow-in-the-dark Matangi goddess Maya. Let's dance unto infinity with Y.A.L.A... You Always Live Again!”. The "Y.A.L.A" video is an explosion of lights and colors. And M.I.A looks pretty great glowing in the dark. Maybe she should try this “glowing” theme in one of her TV performance of “Y.A.L.A”. It would be pretty awesome, just like those killer dance breaks in the song are.
