During his appearance, Mary discussed her new cover shoot for the winter 2013 issue of LA Confidential magazine, her past birthday (she turned 42 last January 11th), her fashion looks in comparison to her past album covers, or her new movie, "Betty & Coretta" (premieres February 2nd on Lifetime).
On more music-related news, the last piece of new Mary J. Blige music we got is her collaboration on "Now or Never", a track included on Kendrick Lamar's album "Good Kid, M.A.A.D City". However, rumor has it Mary is planning to release a sequel to her 2011 album, allegedly to be titled "My Life: Act 2", in 2013.
