Maroon 5 Perform New & Old Music and Cover "Happy" on "Live Lounge": Watch
Maroon 5 has broken the "Live Lounge" rule of only perform two songs. Only really huge artists get to do this and I guess Maroon 5 can be placed in that VIP category now! They’ve earned it, haven’t they?
The Adam Levine-led band is currently in the UK doing promo for their latest single “Maps” and newly-released fifth album “V”. The whole crew stopped by BBC Radio 1’s studios in London this midday (Sept. 11th) to perform an acoustic set at the “Live Lounge”.
During their session on the Fearne Cotton-hosted radio show on Thursday, Maroon 5 performed four of their songs and a “mystery” cover. Watch them in action below!
Maroon 5’s “Live Lounge” acoustic concert can be divided into three groups. The old songs: "Sunday Morning" and "One More Night", the new songs; "Maps" and "Animals", and the covers; Pharrell Williams' "Happy". I know what you’re probably thinking…”Happy??”. Yeah, Adam sang “Happy”. But don’t skip this because the Maroon 5 acoustic version of the Pharrell monster hit is absolutely a must-listen.
They really made the song their own! And wow at Adam Levine’s voice. It’s improved so much over the years!
