Marian Hill have yet to find a “worthy” successful successor to their 2016 breakout hit “Down” but they keep going and don’t give up. The duo in fact just premiered a brand new song titled “Subtle Thing” today and this may be at last that smash follow-up single they’ve been looking for for two consecutive years. I’m in love with it with just one listen and that’s very promising!
“It's a subtle thing / When you look at me / It's a subtle thing / Such a subtle thing”, sings Marian Hill’s Samantha Gongol on the chorus of this new track over beat very similar to that of “Down” (if it ain’t broken, don’t fix it… right?). “Subtle Thing” talks about the desire to finally make a move on your love interest.
Have this on repeat!
