Mariah Carey Performs "Honey" Remix at 2017 VH1 Hip Hop Honors: Video
Mariah Carey was one of the performers at the VH1 Hip Hop Honors special that aired last night. This year’s VH1 Hip Hop Honors honored the “90’s Game Changers”. And of course that’s reason why Mariah Carey was invited to perform. And what song did she perform? “Honey” from her iconic 1997 album “Butterfly”. And Mariah didn’t just perform the original solo version but the remix one, in view this was a special occasion. Ma$e, Da Brat, The LOX and Jermaine Dupri were all there to support their girl Mimi.

That was a great and very nostalgic performance. We totally dug the throwback to the music video they did.
Mariah sounded good and looked cute, and looked very Ariana Grande-esque with that hairstyle, but we’re not sure why she needed to be “carried” so much by her backup dancers. Were those difficult shoes to walk in or what?
