Logic Works Very Hard “Everyday”: Single Premiere (Produced By Marshmello)
Rapper Logic and producer Marshmello dropped a collaboration entitled "Everyday" today. The song is an upbeat urban track with subtle electronic influences where the "1-800-273-8255" star speaks of not letting anybody make him feel down. Or at least that's why I get... do you too? The lyrics are honestly a bit of a mess and kind of corny! It could be too that this is an homage track Logic came up with having Labor Day in mind. "I work hard every motherf*cking day", he sings on the chorus. But anyway, although I kind of dig the Marshmello beat, I don't think Logic is showing us his best here. Lyrically, as I already pointed out, the song is very generic and that is major flaw for me and probably the reason why I won't give "Everyday" much spins on my Spotify. Coming from "44 More" to this? Nah-uh. You can do better, Mr. Logic.
