Liam Payne kicked off Good Morning America's Summer Concert Series at NYC's Central Park today (May 15). He performed a televised two-song set for his hundreds of fans gathered at the iconic Big Apple location in this very sunny day.
The One Direction star performed his debut solo single "Strip That Down" and his most recent single "Familiar" with Colombian reggaeton star J Balvin on GMA earlier on Tuesday. Both performances were high energy and both got big cheerful receptions from the Liam Payne fans in the crowd. They all knew the lyrics and sang along and they all got their LIVES from the Liam live delivery and showmanship.
By the way, during a brief chit chat with the GMA hosts, Liam revealed his much-anticipated debut solo album would be released on September 14th. He also told his fans to get ready for more collaborations (Quavo, J Balvin, now WHO!?)
Album release date: "It is out on the 14th of September, I can tell you that much," Payne revealed. "I'm really happy with it, it's come out really nice."
More collaborations: "I’ve got a good mix of beautiful people on my album, which is amazing."
