Check out the official music video for Mariah Carey's ballad "The Star". The what? Mimi has recorded the official theme song of the upcoming animated Christian comedy movie also titled "The Star". The song itself was released last month but the music video arrived on YouTube only this morning. And the timing of the video premiere couldn't have been more "perfect" (perfect for the movie's interest that is), for the movie hits theaters stateside tomorrow, November 17th.
The music video for Mariah's "The Star" is quite low-cost but the movie looks the same so no surprise here. The music video intertwines footage of the film with scenes of Mariah in a gorgeous pearl dress belting the ballad lyrics against green screen backdrops of the universe and a radiant sun.
