Oh no! Leona Lewis throws herself off a cliff in the newly-premiered music video for “Thunder”. The Emeli Sandé-esque power ballad is the latest single from the British songstress’ upcoming studio album “I Am”, which will be released in stores on September 11th via Def Jam.
The Sarah McColgan-directed music video shot in Los Angeles (that downtown skyline doesn’t lie) shows Leona Lewis belting out “Thunder” inside her mansion, gazing straight into the ocean from her balcony, and dangerously sitting at the edge of the cliff her mansion’s located in – in her best Levi’s look. Towards the end of the music video, Leona leaves us watchers speechless when she decides to jump off the cliff – in a sort of artistic portrayal of ‘finding freedom’.
