Lana del Rey Mesmerizes at Lollapalooza 2013
Lana del Rey was one of the hightlights of Day 1 of Lollapalooza 2013 at Grant Park on August 2 in Chicago. Wearing a rather summery orange dress, and a flowery headband, the gracious 27-year-old New York-born singer treated festival-goers with a mesmerizing set that featured songs from her debut album "Born to Die" and EP "Paradise", as well as from 'The Great Gatsby' soundtrack. How I wish I went to a Lana del Rey concert, and sang the lyrics along! That's got to be one awesome experience. True Lana's shows aren't spectacles; with huge vocals, elaborate stage props, and visuals and choreograpies, but it's her singing and heavenly slow jams that are so attracting and 'magnetic' to witness. Back to her Friday night Lollapalooza 2013 concert, Lana simply won the crowd over. They couldn't stop cheering, and singing out loud along with Lana.
