Can you believe Kelly Clarkson hadn’t been on “Carpool Karaoke” yet? Sacrilege! Her debut appearance on the ultra popular segment of “The Late Late Show with James Corden” aired last night. Kelly’s SUV ride-to-work with James saw the original American Idol and the funny British man sing along to classic hits such as “Since U Been Gone”, “Because of You” or “Stronger”, as well as to newer musical material from Miss Kelegend including “Love So Soft” and “Whole Lotta Woman” - from the “Meaning of Life” album.
Kelly Clarkson not only served amazing live vocals during her “Carpool Karaoke” episode but she also offered viewers tons of her magnetic and awesome personality. We literally think she could be BFFs with anyone. Also, there was an adorable moment in this “Carpool Karaoke” episode where Kelly showed us a bit of her most personal, day-to-side side when James Corden welcomed Kelly’s husband Brandon Blackstock on board the car so they could have a romantic champagne sipping moment in the back seats area. Kelly couldn’t stop laughing not even for one second. She was surely surprised and dare we say a little bit nervous about the situation. One thing is to handle the cameras by yourself and another different one to do it with your husband, who we all know is not very keen to appear before a camera, and especially not a camera that’s broadcasting to millions of people across America. This was a cute and funny moment, though, and certainly one that Kelly will never forget.
Kelly Clarkson’s “Meaning of Life” is out in stores now.
