Katy Perry's Super Bowl Halftime Show Commercial Unveiled by Pepsi! Watch Now!
It’s official. Katy Perry will perform at the Super Bowl XLIX halftime on February 1st, 2015 live from the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The NFL confirmed the news on Sunday night (Nov. 23) via a press release published on their official website and immediate after Pepsi – official sponsor for the SuperBowl’s halftime performances – released the first commercial for the much-anticipated Katy Perry performance – featuring pop star Katy taking us on a behind-the-scenes tour of what we can expect from her SuperBowl XLIX 15-min show.
Lasting 1:55 minutes, the commercial was unveiled by Pepsi via YouTube. At last! It’s confirmed. I mean, everybody knew Katy was going to be “the one”, but the NFL had yet to “confirm” it.
The promo video shows a few of the props that may be used next year at the University of Phoenix Stadium (well…probably not), but the highlights were two things: 1). “Firework” will be performed (duh…it was a given), and that there will be a VERY SPECIAL GUEST STAR sharing the stage with Katy Perry. Who could it be!?
