Katy Perry Remixes New Single With Missy Elliot!
Missy Elliot? Really? Pop diva Katy Perry has chosen rapper Missy Elliot as THE feature artist to jump on board the official remix to her latest single "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)" - The track was supposed to come out as a 'surprise, suprise' next Monday, August 8th, the day it was set to hit radios, and digital retailers, but the full remix was leaked onto the mighty Internet a little earlier, LOLz.
Me loves this song, and I stan hard for Katy, but this remix is a bit pointless IMO. And if there had to be a remix, that had to be with Queen Rebecca Black not Missy. This only makes Katy look desperate to get that fifth #1 on the Hot 100. Gurl, you're gonna get it anyway! Just have a little patient xD. Anyhow, let's comment something about this remix. I enjoyed the intro seconds with Missy's rap, and the immediate link to the first chorus, but the new 'bridge' is just a MESS. Didn't like that new part. Okay remix IMO...and I'm just gonna wait 'til we get the remix with Rebecca Black...that has to happen! C'mon! And they gotta perform it together at the 'MTV Video Music Awards'. Wouldn't that be fun, fun, fun, fun?
