Katy B - 'What Love Is Made Of' (Music Video)
British singer-songwriter Katy B has recently premiered the gloomy music video for her new song "What Love Is Made Of". The mellow house-pop track will be serving as the official lead single from Katy B's upcoming yet-untitled second studio album which is scheduled for UK release via Rinse/Columbia Records this October of 2013. The song's been growing on me ever since it premiered earlier in May. I still think, tho, the beat could've been a little better. But, Katy B's vocals are so ethereal, I can't help but surrender to her flawlessness. I like the lyrics too. As for the "What Love Is Made Of" video, well, it's not super amazing, but the 'gloomy' concept works for the song. It follows Katy B joining her lover (either this, or Katy B is into that guy) for some car racing exhibitions. As I said, the gloomy concept worked, but is this really the best storyline they could think of?.
