Justin Bieber Sings Acapella In Five Videos Posted on Instagram (Watch Now!)
Is he retiring for real? It appeared to be clear he was joking about it when he first said it during his interview on Power 106's "The Neighbourhood", but Justin Bieber has repeated the "I'm retiring..." words on Twitter this week. Whether it's for real or just a joke to create buzz for his new "Believe" documentary, the thing is that The Biebs is still singing (at least until today). He posted on Instagram a few short videos of him singing acapella four songs this morning. Catch JB in action below!
He did "Confident" and "Swap It Out" from his most-recent release "Journals", "Catching Feelings" from "Believe", and "You Smile" from his debut album "My World". Nice vocals! But why did he use the back camera of his phone and not the front? Was he feeling shy? Although Justin said these Instagram videos were Christmas gifts for the Beliebers, we all know it's also (added to the "retirement" thing) a way to keep the buzz going for the "Believe" documentary, which by the way, certain sources are calling a "flop". "Believe" debuted on Wednesday, December 25 (Christmas Day) in over 1,000 theaters in the US and it only managed to gross $1.2 million, which is way lower than the $12.4 million his first documentary "Justin Bieber: Never Say Never" amassed on a Friday in 2011.
