John Mayer (feat. Katy Perry) - "Who You Love" (Music Video)
John Mayer stopped by ABC’s “Good Morning America” on Tuesday, December 17th, alongside pop star girlfriend Katy Perry, to world premiere the music video for their collaborative song “Who You Love”, a touching ballad that has been picked as third single from John’s sixth studio album “Paradise Valley”. The “Who You Love” video was made available on VEVO a few hours after the "GMA" exclusive premiere.
Directed by Sophie Muller (Alicia Key's "Girl on Fire", Rihanna's "Stay"), she described the music video as “epic” and “beautiful”. Let’s hope Katy doesn’t regret recording “Who You Love” and shooting this video with John Mayer. Should they break-up (Katy’s boyfriends history hints she has no luck in love, and there’s high probabilities things with John may end up bad), she’s going to be feel a bit like a fool. Only if you’re married, you should collaborate with your singer spouse.
As for the “Who You Love” video, it’s pretty simplistic, but it does spirit of the ballad justice. John didn’t need a big budget to create a nice video for "Who You Love" anyway. In it, we see Katy and John hugging, looking into each other’s eyes, and overall showing off intense love chemistry, as other scenes feature random couples riding a mechanical bull in the middle of the desert. Katy and John get their turn too.
