Jessie J Performs "Wild", Covers Chris Brown's 'Fine China' For The Sun's Biz Sessions
Jessie J is the guest performer on the latest 'Biz Sessions' of UK paper The Sun posted online on Friday (July 5). In an intimate 'studio' setting, the London-native vocal powerhouse performed an acoustic three-song showcase featuring the songs; "Wild" - the first single from her upcoming album "Gold", a cover of Chris Brown's "X" first single "Fine China", and last but not least, Jessie J's worldwide pop smash "Price Tag". Jessie J nailed it! "Wild" is such an amazing song - not really sure why Jessie J decided to bring those rappers to the studio/radio edit, 'cause all the spotlight should be on HER - and it sounds majorly good in acoustic. I prefer this so much more than the studio version. It's sad, though, how "Wild" is underperforming on the UK charts, having debuted at #5, and steadily falling positions as weeks pass by. Maybe the UK audience ain't feeling this slightly-more-R&B Jessie J, and want her to go back pop?. Let's wait and see what other 'sounds' has Jessie J cooked for us in "Gold". Jessie J also nailed "Price Tag", she always kills this song so no surprise here, and I'm digging as well her rendition of Chris Brown's amazing-but-flop single "Fine China". Vocals were cray-cray!
