Jennifer Hudson - 'Walk It Out' [Music Video]
Jennifer Hudson released last April a Timbaland-produced
new single called 'Walk It Out'. The swagger-ish tune is the lead single from
J-Hud's upcoming third album due in stores this summer. 'Walk It Out' is a new
grittier sound for Jennifer. It's definitely more urban than her previous
stuff. The result? Nobody is really feeling it. And I'm not kidding when I say
nobody. The audio video for 'Walk It Out' on YouTube has only racked 200k views
in two months (too low), the single is nowhere to be found on iTunes' Top 100,
and radios ain't feeling it, as it has been unable to crack the Top 20 on any
format (where it's been sent to). Should Jennifer return to her R&B roots
ASAP? I think she should.
Completely disregarding the flop situation of her new single, Jennifer and RCA have decided to no matter what premiere the music video for ‘Walk It Out’ (two months after the audio premiere… but at least it’s here now). Shot in New York, the Director X-directed video shows J-Hud strutting across the NY streets as she turns heads wherever she goes. The 'Walk It Out' video includes a cute choreography in the park and cameos by Timbaland and Jennifer's very own husband, David Otunga.
