Hailee Steinfeld - "Rock Bottom" [Music Video Premiere!]
Sweet Hailee Steinfeld took to VEVO today, March 25th, to world premiere the music video for the remix version of her song “Rock Bottom” (now featuring Joe Jonas and DNCE), which is the official new single from her amazing “Haiz” EP that she released last year – unfortunately, though, Hailee’s label hasn’t updated the EP with the new “Rock Bottom” remix on iTunes, therefore if you want to get both the EP and this remix you have to purchase them independently.
As an official description of “Rock Bottom” reads, the song is “a poppy, effervescent jam where Hailee chronicles the highs and lows of young love that keep a couple “”coming back for more””. And Hailee made sure she stayed faithful to this story in the music video. Co-starring her and homeless-boy-turned-model John Economou, the “Rock Bottom” visual sees Hailee showing both the nice side of being in a relationship and the dark times all couples unfortunately have to go through.

The video gets very intense towards the middle part when Hailee and her boo attend a DNCE show where Joe Jonas is OMG singing “Rock Bottom” “by mere accident”. Hailee will get on the stage with him and that will make her boyfriend very uncomfortable – and he will eventually storm off the venue pissed. Hailee instead of chasing him after to making him realize that what he did to her – leaving her at the concert alone looking like a fool – was wrong, she goes after him to say “sorry if I made you uncomfortable, it won’t ever happen again” with body language and give him an apology kiss. WTF? I really hope that’s not her in real life.
