Drake Premieres Louis Vuitton-Inspired New Song "Signs": Stream Now!

Drake and Louis Vuitton have made business.

The French luxury brand paid Drake a hefty amount of money, and possibly sent his way a box filled with LV goodies too, for the Canadian rapper to give Louis Vuitton the premiere rights of an exclusive brand new song in exchange.

Today, Louis Vuitton held its Spring/Summer 2018 fashion show, as part of the on-going Paris Fashion Week, in the French capital, and during the actual runaway show Drake’s brand new song called “Signs”, produced by Noah “40” Shebib, was world premiered.

Drake allegedly wrote “Signs” with the Spring/Summer 2018 fashion collection of Louis Vuitton, done by the creative director Kim Jones (see Instagram post below), in mind. Or did he? I just find it hard to sometimes believe this kind of affirmations by companies.

Did Drake really dedicate time to write a song solely for Louis Vuitton? Or did he have “Signs” already recorded as a demo in the vault and he just added a few new lyrics to appeal to Louis Vuitton and called it a “new song” and got his LV paycheck real easy? What do you believe?

In any case, it’s always great to hear “previously-unheard” music from Drake, whatever it is. He is too good of a rapper.

Listen to "Signs" below via the official replay of Louis Vuitton's runway show from today. Drake's song starts around the 4:00 minute mark.
