David Guetta & Rihanna - Who's That Chick (Video!)
David Guetta may have produced a brilliant dance-pop record in "Who's That Chick" (featuring Rihanna) but he has completely ruined the music video! The original one Riri did for the Doritos campaign was pure perfection! and not to be touched in any way. However, looks like the French DJ's ego is too big and was mad he was somewhat (lol, okay he appears in no way) left out of the original visual and that it was 'all eyes on Rihanna' - he got a point though...in the end he's the 'main artist' and not the Barbados girl. But still! David Guetta recently tweeted about shooting a 'new' music video for the song, therefore making it the final and official TV version. Watch the result above. Does he really think adding scenes of him is going to improve the single's charting? "Who's That Chick" was #2 on the Billboard's Club Songs Chart, #6 in the UK, ranked within the Top 10 in several other European countries and got to #7 in Australia. The song is a hit no matter what. It'd probably go to #1 if Rihanna did some TV performances but we know that ain't gonna happen. She's too busy now with the "Loud" era and preppin' the upcoming tour.
In any case...what has David Guetta done to the video? He kept most of the original colourful Doritos visual and added some random scenes of him at this spaceship. They basically show Guetta behind the deck, 'attempting' to hit a punching bag, doing some spinning and other idiotic things. They messed up with the editting too. Way too choppy in some parts. Veredict? Weird...
