Cody Simpson - 'Pretty Brown Eyes' (Video)
On the same day of its iTunes release, Australian pop singer Cody Simpson treats fans with the official music video for "Pretty Brown Eyes", the summery first single off the 16-year-old's upcoming sophomore album, due in stores later in 2013 via Atlantic Records.
'A summery video, for a summery song' must've been the concept behind this clip. In it, Cody Simpson arrives to a pool party where he will flirt, get shirtless, swim, drink non-alcoholic beverages, and perform a rather cheesy choreography in an attempt to impress his lady friends. Well, I'm certainly not feeling the song, and the music video is just plain bland. Not really sure how Atlantic Records approved this as first single. It's not that strong material. In any case, Cody's got his entire headlining summer North American tour to promote "Pretty Brown Eyes" and prevent it from being a complete failure.
